As of July 20,
2009, the Sunset
Marine location
in Oceanside has
changed
ownership.
The name of the
location was
changed to
"Cal-Kona
Marine. Derrick
Pregler, remains
and is now the
owner. David
Yapp is his
partner in
Cal-Kona Marine.
Since the
majority owner
of Sunset Marine
is approaching
70, we felt that
the current
operators of the
Oceanside Store
would be the
best to carry
on. We have the
greatest
confidence that
Derrick and
David will
continue the
great service to
the boating
community as we
have in the past
15 years.
It is with heavy
heart that I
cast off the
Oceanside
Location of
Sunset Marine to
Derrick and his
new company,
Cal-Kona Marine.
However, I know
that he will
continue the
service to the
boating
community that
we have tried to
do for the years
Sunset was
there.
